What is the typical timeline for a re-roofing project?
Our re-roofing projects usually take between 2 to 4 days. It can also be up to 1 week depending on the size and complexity of the roof. We strive to minimise disruption to your daily life.
Do you offer warranties on your roofing work?
All our installations come with a 10-year workmanship warranty. If something isn’t right, we come back and fix it — no arguments. Ask us for the details when you get your quote.
Do you work in winter and wet weather?
Yes. We re-roof right through Waikato winters, including in the rain.
We set up the job so your home stays watertight at every stage alongside keeping a close eye on the weather forecast; the only thing that stops us is a serious storm.
Even then we make your roof safe before we leave.
Winter is when most roof problems appear, so it’s often the best time to get sorted, not the worst.
What types of roofing materials do you use?
We use high quality New Zealand steel, Coloursteel MAXAM. Well known and the best roofing steel for Waikato weather conditions. It’s our best choice for your long run roofing needs.
How can I maintain my new roof?
Regular inspections and maintenance, such as cleaning gutters and checking for damage, are crucial.
Can we stay home during a reroof?
Yes, most families stay home. A re-roof is done from the outside, the power and water stay on, and the roof is closed in again at the end of each day. The hardest part is the noise, mostly on the days the old roof comes off.

Does a roofer need to be an LBP?
Only if the re-roof needs a building consent. Roofing on a home is restricted building work when it needs consent, and restricted work has to be done or supervised by a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP). A like-for-like re-roof that doesn’t need consent isn’t restricted, so the law doesn’t require an LBP.
